Alcohol and Other Drugs (AOD) Awareness Project

The AOD Awareness Project seeks to prevent harm from alcohol and drug use by supporting young people to take an active lead in educating their peers.

Participants will have the opportunity to work with likeminded young people to develop an awareness campaign that helps to prevent risky alcohol and drug use, and

  • Develop skills and gain hands-on experience in campaign design and content creation, including Canva graphic design.
  • Learn about prevention strategies and harm-minimisation techniques, to help reduce smoking, alcohol and drug-related harm amongst your peers.
  • Make a positive difference and help prevent risky substance use in our community. 

When: Six-week program, starting Wednesday 2 November

Cost: Free program

Ages: 16-25 years

Location: 39 Clow Street, Dandenong
