Are you a young person interested in a career in trades or manufacturing?
Join us for two interactive days designed to help you learn about potential study, work and volunteering pathways in trades and manufacturing.
During the two days participants will have the opportunity to:
- Earn a White Card – a mandatory requirement for anyone working in the trades and manufacturing industries
- Participate in engaging and practical activities to gain insight into these industries
- Explore career options across trades and manufacturing through site visits, demonstrations and conversations with industry professionals
- Hear from guest speakers about study pathways, career journeys and volunteering opportunities
Program details:
- Day 1: Wednesday 30 September, 10am – 4pm, Dandenong Civic Centre, 225 Lonsdale Street, Dandenong
- Day 2: Thursday 1 October 10am – 3pm, Youth and Family Services Office, 39 Clow Street, Dandenong
- Cost: $20 for two days (cost includes White Card accreditation, transport and refreshments). Bookings required via Humanitix.
- Age group: Open to young people aged 16 – 25 years who live, study, work or have a significant connection with the City of Greater Dandenong
