Professionals who work with young people are increasingly concerned about the extent to which young people access p0rnography, including extreme and violent p0rnography, and the influence this is having on their lives.

In this session, Maree Crabbe, Director of the Australian Violence Prevention Project 'It’s Time we Talked', will outline how p0rnography is impacting on young people, and what we can do to address it.

The session will include:

  • Learning about the prevalence and nature of p0rnography accessed by young people
  • Understand how p0rnography is affecting young people and the wider implications for consent, sexual health, and gender equality
  • Explore practical strategies to apply in your work with young people

Content warning: Please note that this training will discuss topics of a sensitive nature including descriptions of p0rnography and sexual violence. Please contact the organisers if you would like more information.

If you require additional assistance to participate, please get in contact with us.
