Dandy’s Got Talent is back and we want to see you on stage.
Are you 12-25 and have a connection to the City of Greater Dandenong?
Whether you sing, dance, rap, or play in a band, this is your chance to perform and win amazing prizes.

Who can apply?
All performers must meet the following criteria:
- Aged 12–25 years
- Live, work, study, or have a strong connection to the City of Greater Dandenong
- Be available to perform at the Final Showcase on Thursday 9 July

DJ City
DJ City supports emerging performers with vouchers that can be used towards music gear, audio equipment and production tools to help take your craft to the next level.

Sky Music is backing local talent with vouchers that can be used across their range of instruments, accessories and music essentials, supporting performers at every stage of their journey.

The Band Booth
The Band Booth is offering rehearsal space and mentoring opportunities, giving bands and groups access to professional environments and industry guidance to refine their sound and performance.

RIDDIM Studios
RIDDIM Studios is supporting dancers with creative opportunities, including a professional photoshoot designed to help performers build their profile and showcase their work.
How will the competition be judged?
All performers are judged by a panel including local industry professionals and Youth and Family Services staff.
Judges will not receive any information about performers beforehand. All judging is based purely on the performance delivered on the day.
Judging Criteria
Please note: Judging criteria is subject to change.
Performers to be scored across these key areas:

Backline and equipment
What we provide:
- Backline set-up including leads, microphones, and fold-back speakers
- A standard 5-piece drumkit with 3 cymbals
- Front of House speakers
- Professional sound technicians and mixing desk
What you provide:
- Your own musical instruments (except drumkit)
- Your own amps if you don't want to use ours
- Drumsticks and any additions to the drumkit required for your performance
- Any additional gear specific to your act

Application requirements:
- A video of yourself performing is required
- Ensure the footage is clear and well-lit
- Ensure sound is clear with minimal background noise
What to include in your video
- A performance that shows your skills
- Solo performers must be solo in their video or clearly identifiable
- Group performances are acceptable if your role is obvious
