Greater Dandenong Youth and Family Services are currently recruiting interested young people aged 16-25 years for their 2025 intake into Council’s Young Leaders program.
If you are an aspiring leader or are looking to build your leadership skills, this program is for you.
Delivered weekly, this 15-week comprehensive program supports skill development across a wide range of topics including leadership, communication, teamwork, public speaking, advocacy, and conflict management. Young people are introduced to the role and work of local government, including meeting the Mayor and sitting Councillors. A key component of the program includes young people planning and delivering projects that address local youth issues.
