Join Youth and Family Services for our new Change Makers program - Standing Up Against Racism.
There are two opportunities to get involved:
POSTPONED - Change Makers Youth Forum
Attend the upcoming Change Makers Youth Forum to help inform the new national anti-racism framework.
Date: Wednesday 2 June 2021
Time: 5pm - 7pm
Venue: Dandenong Civic Centre, 225 Lonsdale Street Dandenong
Change Makers Project Group
Work with like-minded young people to develop and deliver a local campaign addressing racism. You will have the opportunity to develop leadership and advocacy skills and help drive change in your local community.
Date: During term 3
Time: 4.30pm - 6.30pm
Venue: Youth and Family Services, 39 Clow St Dandenong 3175
Young people may opt to participate in either or both parts of the Change Makers project.
This opportunity is open to young people aged 16-25 years who have a connection to the City of Greater Dandenong (live, work, study or play). We want to hear from young people from a range of cultural backgrounds.
All COVIDSafe Guidelines will be fully met to ensure public safety for this program.
